Alexandra
The location of the hotel was central, a short walk to the beautiful guesthouse and a truly lovely old market selling many Boho jewelry, clothes, and leather bags. I chose a twin room with a very comfortable bed.

Affordable room rates. the breakfasts here are amazing - they whip up fresh dishes, including special options like crispy bacon with toast 🥓🍳.

The hotel in Bristol is well presented and nicely designed. It is a beautiful building with rooms featuring king-size beds. Great location, very close to an Anglican cathedral.

A tidy and reasonably priced room with a view. Gorgeous and great breakfast with toast and crispy bacon - well worth the money. Marvellous, stunning location in Bristol, near to the bars and pub and centre of Bristol and St Nicholas Market and the characterful St Nicholas market area.

Comfortable bed, good bathroom, central location, helpful staff
Surrounding streets quite noisy - luckily my room was at back away from noisy pubs but had very noisy seagulls waking me up early. The room was quite small - Ok for one person but for two? There was a strange smell coming from outside, a kind of rotting. The honesty minibar was not fully stocked - apparently they don't have their licence yet. I didnt like the idea of no receptionist in the evening - you had to use a nonuser friendly code to get in at night - and suppose my flight had been late and I had arrived after 8?

The location was incredible, for example, an impressive museum was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the hotel.

This guest house has been designed to a good spec with all the facilities you need for a city break. It's in a great location in central Bristol. The breakfast was tasty and the service perfect. The receptionist was genuinely helpful and the whole place had a great laid back vibe.
There was only one thing that marred the experience - we were on the 2nd floor and the heat was unbearable. The rooms are not air conditioned and with the hot, muggy weather we suffered. The hotel kindly provided a fan for the second night and this did make a difference. I'm sure that for 90% of the year this wouldn't even be an issue.

Our experience here was very nice. The offered breakfast was sensational and included variety of options. The rooms were neat and light and the service good. Got wake up calls free of charge, not bad too. It had fab location next to a British theatre company.

Les
The room was tidy, had complimentary toiletries, and the quality was as excellent as advertised, but there was no place to put the toiletries.

The location was excellent with the market on the doorstep in the old city and easy location to the docks and other areas of the city. The hotel itself has a lot of character and has been refurbished to a high standard. Very comfortable stay and the staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
The only down-side was the ensuite which, whilst very well equipped, was extremely small (to the extent that there was no floor area to put down a bath mat and a tall/large person would have trouble negotiating the facilities. Also, our room was to the front of the hotel overlooking a road and bar which were noisy in the evening/night and early morning. We would book a room at the rear of the property next time to avoid this.

The staff were charming and helpful.
Dreadful noise of seagulls and the heat of the room made us unable to sleep
